What is NAD+?
The Difference Between Chronological Age and Biological Age
Your chronological age is simply how many years have passed since your birth, whereas your biological age is the rate at which your cells are ageing inside, how well they are functioning and how much damage they have accumulated. So it may be that your chronological age is 40 but your biological age is 55!
A peer reviewed scientific study used several measures of biological age, to evaluate the effectiveness of Nuchido Time+.
Here is a summary of the study together with some of the interesting results:
The experimental design used is known as a double-blind, placebo-controlled, cross-over study. This is the ‘gold-standard’ for clinical trials.
Glossary
Double-blind: Neither the volunteers or the researchers knew if they were taking Nuchido Time+ or a placebo. This was only revealed after all the measurements were taken.
Placebo-controlled: The Nuchido Time+ was compared to a placebo (i.e. an inactive ‘capsule’).
Cross-over: Half of the volunteers took Nuchido Time+ whilst the other half took the placebo. After a pause to allow the effects to wear off, the volunteers switched from Nuchido Time+ to placebo, or vice versa.
There is good evidence to show that Nuchido Time+ can have a positive effect upon levels of NAD+ which can in turn decrease biological ageing. Further evidence can be found on the Nuchido website here.
